How we work
First and foremost, we’re a community of passionate anglers who share a love for fishing. Our club provides a platform for members to connect, learn, and enjoy the sport together. We organise a variety of activities and events throughout the year, catering to anglers of all experience levels and interests. From fishing outings to competitions and social gatherings, there’s always something happening in our vibrant fishing community.
How it began
In 1995 a local group of friends started fishing together. The birth of the club began in one of the friend’s garages where meetings were held with the purpose of enabling likeminded enthusiasts to come together regularly in friendly competition circumstances, and Danglers Fishing Club was formed.
Competitions
Our competitions run for the whole year except January and are catered to anglers of all skill levels and preferences. We believe in the joy of angling and the thrill of the catch, and our competitions provide the perfect platform to share these experiences with like-minded individuals.

What we offer
We offer a vibrant community where anglers of all levels can connect, share experiences, and foster lifelong friendships. With a diverse array of events ranging from competitive tournaments to leisurely outings, there’s always something exciting happening on the water.

- Monthly fishing competitions and an app which allows members to fish anywhere in Victoria when they have the time to do so
